What does 21 days signify? Will you form a habit? Will you adhere to something to do consistently?
I personally found taking on 21 days revealing.
I was invited to participate in 21 days Abundance Meditation by Deepak Chopra with a group. What does it involved when I received the invite, I asked. She replied, listen to audio message she would send everyday to group, and complete the daily tasks. Are the tasks easy and achievable I asked, she replied yes, will take about 10 minutes, total of 15-20 minutes each day.
Alright sound doable, and I said YES, though I wondered if I could commit to all of 21 days.
To by surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I went to bed each night, in anticipation of the morning’s meditation. I am blessed to work from home, and am able to have flexible time to prioritize this meditation practice every day for 21 days right after breakfast. I have been meditating for a while now, just not consistent to do it daily.
I found this 21 days to be insightful, challenging, and broke all grounds to step up and complete the daily tasks. Some of which you have to think harder and not be on cruise mode. At the end, it’s a personal self discovery however you interpret the 21 days journey to be. Its yours and yours alone. I continue to refer to my notebook often to reflect on the messages, the tasks, the mantra and be reminded that “every person is a piece of God’s treasure, worthy spiritual being , deserving of love and abundance”.
21 days does built momentum, 21 days is achievable as its not months to end. It gives one a break to reach a small milestone, a pad on one’s shoulders and recognize its well deserve as before one would never have thought, one could ever commit to it. 21 days is a good number to start with.
21 days has set me up to calmly, willingly develop practices I never thought possible.
